It's True
City Hall will be closing in September so that a new Urban Outfitter can open in its place. I can hear the rejoicing now.
Tonight was full of surprises
Yes indeed, it really was. I popped by Agave to see my dear sweet lil Layla and found her sleeping soundly amongst the giant pillows in the back VIP room. In fact, I almost didn’t see her at all, she was nestled in so deep. The place was nearly empty except for six or seven people chatting over the low music at the bar. Later in the evening a fight almost broke out at the bar between the...
Sunday Already?!?!?!?
Damn! Where did the weekend go? If anyone was wondering, I had a fabulous night last night. :) If I happened to run into you towards the end of that night, forgive me if I was a bit “bubbly.” I couldn’t help myself.
Peace
laylamattie: Just wanted to add one last thing about this weekend. Sometimes the simplest things in life, like sitting on the ground, listening to bluegrass, looking at lights shining into the trees, with your dad….it just takes everything away. It brings calmness, peacefulness, serenity, and relaxation to a time that might seem like the hardest you’ve ever had. So thank you dad,and with that said…I’m...

I'm back
Home again from my fabulous vacation and sorta depressed about it although I will say that the lovely weather here in Nashville is cheering me up a bit. Now its time to catch up on my severely over crowded inbox of emails and go through the mail....
Stream Portishead's Third →
tuneage: Looking forward to Portishead’s latest album? I know I am. But there’s still a little under a week before it’s released. In the meantime, you can stream the full album on Third’s page on last.fm. Bonus: Here’s a link to Sasha Frere-Jones’ excellent review of the album in the New Yorker.
Ahoy Matey!
We have chartered a private speedboat for the day so that we can explore the islands and go diving for shells. Looks like its going to be a beautiful Earth Day here in Providenciales.
Emerging from Winter
birdwhistell:It’s been a bit of a long, harsh winter, and though I find myself still wearing sweaters during the late afternoons, I’m beginning to shed off the layers that have seemingly kept me somewhat removed for the past two months. The county fair is about to begin and there are pumpkins and squash to be a planted. Oh goodness. This can only spell trouble. :)
Master Divers - a MUST see :)
Mom and Brooklyn take on the deep blue… If you listen closely, you can hear Asa, our captain sing a bit of Garth. :)
