(Photo: Joan Marcus) LEGALLY BLONDE, THE MUSICAL COMING TO TPAC Proving that two blondes are better than one, Legally Blonde, The Musical, is coming to TPAC June 23 through 28 and the star of MTV’s Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods, Lauren Ashley Zakrin and Tony-nominated star of the Broadway production, Laura Bell Bundy are coming along too. You see, it just so happens that during the Nashville run of the show, Becky Gulsvig, who stars as Elle in the touring production, will be on vacation so the other two golden-haired starlets will be stepping in to fill her shoes. It works out quite well for Bundy, who has recently relocated to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. She will be taking on all the evening performances at TPAC’s Jackson Hall while Zakrin will be performing during the matinees. “We are extremely fortunate to have these two amazingly talented actresses, who know this role inside and out, ready at a moment’s notice to hit the stage,” said producer Mike Isaacson in the news release. Legally Blonde, The Musical will wrap up the 2008-09 TPAC season. Tickets are $22.50 to $74.50 and are available online at www.tpac.org or by calling 615-255-ARTS. ***FYI - Two of the blondest gals in Nashville, Stephanie Langston and I will be hosting the Women’s Night on Broadway reception on Thursday, June 25 at TPAC from 6p.m. to 7p.m. and we would love to see you there.
